Imbue’s focus is an AI “agent”: a type of computing system that can simulate human decision-making to complete complex tasks. Their goal is to build practical AI agents that can accomplish larger goals and safely work for us in the real world.
Product or service: Imbue is developing models it finds “internally useful” to start, including models that can code (a la GPT-3 and Codex). What sets Imbue’s apart are their ability to “robustly reason,” the company claims.

The goal of the fundraise is to enable d-Matrix to begin commercializing Corsair, the world’s first Digital-In Memory Compute (DIMC), chiplet-based inference compute platform. d-Matrix has architected an elegant DIMC engine and chiplet-based solution to enable inference at a lower total cost of ownership (TCO) than GPU-based alternatives.
d-Matrix’s recent silicon announcement, Jayhawk II, is the latest example of how the company is working to fundamentally change the physics of memory-bound compute workloads common in generative AI and large language model (LLM) applications1. This new chiplet-based DIMC platform coming to market in 2024 will redefine the category, further positioning d-Matrix as the frontrunner in efficient AI inference.

Automat’s product is an AI system called Lasso, designed to translate a video or description into a software automation workflow. It can break a recording of a workflow down into step-by-step instructions and then apply AI to interpret the meaning of those instructions, performing actions on a user’s behalf.
