Outbound AI, founded in 2021 by Matt Wiggs and Josh Beck, has raised $16 million in seed funding to accelerate the growth of its AI-powered virtual agents that perform administrative tasks. The round was led by Madrona Venture Group and SpringRock Ventures.
Outbound AI's virtual agents are designed to help healthcare providers and service organizations offload administrative tasks, such as scheduling, managing patient records, and following up with patients. The company says that its virtual agents can operate at up to four to five times the pace of their human counterparts, while also being more accurate and efficient.
Parrot, founded in 2019 by Eric Baum and Bryan Baum, raised $11 million in Series A funding led by Amplify Partners and XYZ Venture Capital.
Parrot's platform is designed for the legal and insurance industries, and it can be used to transcribe depositions, interviews, and other audio recordings. The platform is powered by a proprietary AI engine that is able to transcribe speech with high accuracy.
The company says that its platform is currently being used by a number of law firms and insurance companies, and it plans to use the new funding to expand its team and develop new features for its platform. Parrot also plans to expand into new markets, such as the healthcare and financial services industries.
Kaito, founded in 2021 by Daniel Goldman and Daniel Kohn, raised $5.5 million in a Series A funding round at an $87.5 million valuation led by early-stage crypto venture capital (VC) firms Superscrypt and Spartan.
Kaito's search engine combines real-time data with large language models like ChatGPT. This allows users to search for information on crypto projects, news, and events in a more comprehensive and informative way. The company also plans to use the funding to develop new features, such as the ability to track crypto portfolios and identify investment opportunities.
